Today marks the 40th day AFTER I dropped the car trailer on my leg. Sven took me to the plastic surgeon for our appointment on Tuesday the 26th. He gave me good news and bad news. He told me that my leg is looking great, but told me it could be months or month (we hope month) until I would be ready for a skin graft. =/ I'm really really glad I didn't get it Tuesday, because I wasn't ready for it that soon. My leg is still extended into a point position and I use the contraption my dad made me to stretch my foot back into a flex position daily. I must say it moves quite a bit, but it hurts LIKE NO OTHER to let it drop back down into the point. =/ I know everyone is worried about my nutrition, actually lack there of nutrition, and I'm happy to report that Kaiser has hooked me up with the nurtitionist, which I get to see next Thursday. I'm really happy about that, since I've had an eating disorder since I was in the 8th grade (I'll do the math for you 10 years), I'm excited to get some good solid strong info about health that I can bring home and healthy up the rest of my family. =) Anyways no leg changes here to report, but here is a really cool picture of my leg when it was x-rayed before my staples were removed.

My crippled life
A day in my life currently is crippling. I can't care for myself let alone our amazing little daughter. She has been quite the adventure, I'm 3 and a half weeks in on healing. I go into the Dr tomorrow and I'm hoping for really great healing news!
Anyways since I'm not good in the mother/wife department, we've been staying at my dads. The company really helps me not think of my leg all day long and it helps to have a constant flow of kids for Kynzie.
I can't get off the porch (stairs) so I don't get to watch kynzie play outside. This morning she wanted to drive her tractor, I was so excited I practically cried that she learned out to reverse and actually drive it and not just spin circles. Here's how her daddy taught her to reverse.

Trip 3 to Grandmas
Yesterday we headed out to Grandma's with another Toyota. This has become a weekly thing, but we get a little more stuff moved away from the outside of the house.
I'm thinking once all Sven's outside stuff is gone I might not want to move. hahaha **just kidding**
We have been moving the passed 3 weekends and so far we have moved:
Merk's Dodge, Merk's boat, and 3 Toyota's. My yard looks like we have moved mountains of stuff and in reality it's not. haha
Anyways back to my story. We pulled into Grandma's yard and parked the truck and trailer pretty smooth driving in such a short little area Sven. We talked for about 10 minutes with Grandma and the neighbor Maria and Makynzie had dragged a toy car from Grandma's house about 400 feet to where we were standing around the trailer. She climbed on the trailer with this car and proceeded with this:

Makynzie: "Yes please. Daddy I need a strap."
Sven chuckles
Makynzie: "Daddy I load the car, please put a strap on it please. I take it home."
We all giggled, yep she's TOTALLY a Sven Hickman =))
Newest news....
We recently started our "move." We have a little over 1 month to move the entire last 2 years of living.
Boy that stresses me out thinking about it.
Sven collects Toyotas, yes people, full on trucks. He likes to do it and when we are low on funds, he can simply sell parts and then we aren't worried about money for a minute, so I let him. He's only allowed to buy them with both our consent, otherwise I'd have more than 7, and be broker than a bum! Anyways that's not the point.
Sven and I decided it was in our best interest to move out to Grandma Susie's house (Sven's grandma) so we could pay off all our debt (or close to it) and start beginning our future. We will have 40 acres to build on, and we are going to start that process. It won't be any time soon that we will be building, we have to take baby steps, but we are okay with that. Since I'm still working in Burrough Valley 3 days a week, it's most fuel efficient if I stay with my dad those nights, so bamm now my dad will get help around the house. Killing lots of birds with 1 stone. Ask me in 6 months if I'm ready to pull out my hair! :-P
Here's our steps:
1: BUY AN EXPENSIVE TRUCK: haha okay that's really not a good step but has definitely been great and really needed to haul 9 vehicles to grandma's and all our stuff :P

The remodeling is taking us quite a bit of time since we only get to go out on the weekends to work on it. Sven is going to stay a week out at Grandma's next week so he can do all the electrical after work. It's a long but fairly easy process, we just need it done BEFORE we move in. =) It will be nice and fresh after we move in, and I'm excited about that. Plus its nice to have a handy man and can do all the work yourself. ;-)

3 WEEKS DOWN!!!
Any of you that have spoke to me the last few weeks know that I've had a newly "single" life. My dear husband was shipped off to the big apple (yes NEW YORK CITY) for work. We were told 3 weeks, making this weekend the end, he'd be home soon! I was praising JESUS since Tuesday, I'd find myself smiling in the kitchen for no reason, passing the pictures on the wall and knowing it was just a few more days until I REALLY got to see his face.
Wednesday at work I texted Sven and said "just find out already, its killing me, I need to know."
His response, "Just got off the phone with Kyle, looks like its 2 more weeks."
Insert tears and sobbing here
my text back "seriously, I'll keel (kill) you if your lying"
His response "not lying, won't be home until the 16th"
Me: "I hate you please don't talk to me for a while, I have to finish payroll and I can't get it done with you bothering me"
Hours later and many I love you's from him. I decide that I'm gonna keel him! =) Now that's love right?!?!?!
| This is how Kynzie and I REALLY feel. |
So please pray for Kynzie and I that we can make it 2 more weeks, she's already on my nerves and I'm sure I'm on her nerves. We do have our good moments but there's only so much whining this mama can take. I did threaten her last week (and no not death). I threaten her like this:
Me: "Kynzie you need to help mama clean up all your toys:
Kynzie: "Okay (singing) clean up, clean up." SHORT PAUSE "No mama you clean up Kynzie's toys, I watch"
Where the H.E.DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS DID SHE LEARN THAT!!!!
Me: "Kynzie, this mama will throw all your toys away if you don't want to clean them up"
| Kynzie vacuuming her room =) |
Kynzie: "Nooooooo mama, no throwing away my babies" As she hoards all her babies in the corner.
Me: "Please help me, I didn't make this mess, you did"
Kynzie: "I don't want to mama."
Me: "Okay sit in time out for 2 minutes:
ENTER melt down of the 2 and a half year old, which involves the kicking and screaming and crying
Kynzie sobbing: "I go to time out mommy"
Me: "WHAT?? Are you serious, you'd rather go to time out than clean your toys??"Kynzie: "I in time out mommy"
Me: "Forget time out if your bad I'll take you to Grandma Susie's house"
Kynzie: "I bad mommy, I go to Grandma Susie's" STILL CRYING
Me: "Your crazy child, I'm not driving you to Grandma Susie's"
That TOTALLY made her mad that I REFUSED to give to her Grandma's house. Lesson learned.
Its been an entire week and if I say she's being bad, she asks to go to Grandma Susie's. Nice one Raquel, nice move.
In our 3 weeks already we have done a girls day. Thanks Sam. Kynzie LOVES her toes and loves your orange car. =)
Bella got fixed about a week and a half ago. No MORE puppies for us! This is Toyota (white stripe down face - male) and Sassy (female) that we ended up keeping from Bella's litter. Toyota is the BEST mellow dog ever! And Sassy, well that's how she got her name. She follows MAMA everywhere. They are the best dogs really, just the food is expensive. We will live. And Kynzie LOVES THEM ALL. And gives them treats all the time. She sure takes good care of them.

Girls Night!
Mama had an appointment with Sam to get her toes painted. Sam is so amazing she agreed to give Kynzie her own polish on her toes! She sat still the entire time and she loved EVERY minute of it!!

I don't know how I did it, but I did. I convinced my dad to take some family pictures. They turned out AMAZING (like always)!! Here are a few I'd like to share with you.
