Today marks the 40th day AFTER I dropped the car trailer on my leg. Sven took me to the plastic surgeon for our appointment on Tuesday the 26th. He gave me good news and bad news. He told me that my leg is looking great, but told me it could be months or month (we hope month) until I would be ready for a skin graft. =/ I'm really really glad I didn't get it Tuesday, because I wasn't ready for it that soon. My leg is still extended into a point position and I use the contraption my dad made me to stretch my foot back into a flex position daily. I must say it moves quite a bit, but it hurts LIKE NO OTHER to let it drop back down into the point. =/ I know everyone is worried about my nutrition, actually lack there of nutrition, and I'm happy to report that Kaiser has hooked me up with the nurtitionist, which I get to see next Thursday. I'm really happy about that, since I've had an eating disorder since I was in the 8th grade (I'll do the math for you 10 years), I'm excited to get some good solid strong info about health that I can bring home and healthy up the rest of my family. =) Anyways no leg changes here to report, but here is a really cool picture of my leg when it was x-rayed before my staples were removed.

My crippled life
A day in my life currently is crippling. I can't care for myself let alone our amazing little daughter. She has been quite the adventure, I'm 3 and a half weeks in on healing. I go into the Dr tomorrow and I'm hoping for really great healing news!
Anyways since I'm not good in the mother/wife department, we've been staying at my dads. The company really helps me not think of my leg all day long and it helps to have a constant flow of kids for Kynzie.
I can't get off the porch (stairs) so I don't get to watch kynzie play outside. This morning she wanted to drive her tractor, I was so excited I practically cried that she learned out to reverse and actually drive it and not just spin circles. Here's how her daddy taught her to reverse.
